Wetley Rocks War Memorial

A Celtic Cross on a 3 stepped base in the churchyard of St.John the Baptist on Mill Lane in Wetley Rocks commemorating the fallen from the two world wars.

A granite obelisk standing at the main entrance of Foxfield Works, on Whitehurst Lane in Dilhorne, commemorating the employees of Park Hall Colliery who died in the Great War. The rear lists those who served and returned. (photograph not taken of this side on this visit)

Manchester Williams Deacon's Bank Ltd WW2

The roll of honour of the former Williams Deacon's Bank is located in the main foyer of the NatWest Bank Offices, 1 Hardman Boulevard, Manchester. It is a wooden tablet with the names inscribed on ceramic tiles. Please note there is no public access.

Staveley-in-Cartmel Memorial Lychgate

The church of St.Mary in Staveley-in-Cartmel has a wooden lychgate with slate roof. There are two wooden plaques placed on each side of the gate one for the Great War with 3 names and on for the Second World War with 4.
