Marple Methodist Church.

There are two memorial plaques in Marple Methodist Church commemorating the fallen from the Great War. The Primitive Church plaque was moved here when the chapel on Market Street was demolished in the early 1960's.

Trinity Methodist Church Plaque

A rectangular plaque with moulded Corinthian pilasters at either end, the names of the dead appear on central shield, with those who served and returned listed underneath.

Marple Primitive Methodist Church Plaque

A Nowy-headed white veined marble plaque with wreath at top on grey veined marble backing. It commemorates 9 men who died during the Great War.
