Congleton War Memorial

Congleton war memorial commemorates 243 local men from the Great war 107 from the Second and 1 from Oman. There is also a plaque remembering the Royal Netherlands Brigade that was formed in Congleton during 1940. The memorial can be found on Lawton Street opposite the Prince of Wales.




The three center plaques commemorate those from the First World War.
