Bury Holy Trinity School Memorial

A plaque commemorating men from Holy Trinity Church who fell in the Great War. It is mounted on an exterior wall of Trinity Primary School off Trinity Street in Bury.


TO THE GLORY OF GOD

IN GRATEFUL MEMORY
OF
THE MEN & LADS
OF HOLY TRINITY CHURCH
AND PARISH
WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES
FOR HONOUR AND FREEDOM
IN THE WAR
1914-1918
THIS SCHOOL HAVING BEEN
DESTROYED BY FIRE
ON JANUARY 26th 1920
WAS REBUILT
A.D. 1923 - 1924

THE GLORY OF THIS LATTER HOUSE
SHALL BE GREATER THAN THE
FORMER, SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS.
