Whaley Bridge War Memorial

Whaley Bridge Memorial can be found in the park off Buxton Road near the Cock Inn. The memorial was renovated in 2014 only to be damaged by a tree in 2018.

On the night of 25th/26th September 2018 an Oak tree fell on the memorial causing substantial damage. The plinth has been restored but the cross was un-repairable being replaced by a shorter one.
